OUR BOOKS INTERNATIONAL PROMOTION IN 2012

    Chinese Universe Publishing and Media Co., Ltd. (stock abbreviation: Chinese Media, stock code: 600373) fulfilled the completion of a major reorganization of assets on December 21, 2010, become a Publishing & Media listed company as a whole backdoor listing on main business by Jiangxi Publishing Group. The Chinese Media's main business covers the editing and publishing, newspapers, printing, issuance, logistics, film and television production, international trade, artwork operation etc, is a large publishing and media company with multi-media in whole industry chain. The company employs more than 5,000 staffs. In 2011, the sales revenue amounted 6.981 billion Yuan, profits reached 485 million Yuan and total assets surpassed 7.586 billion Yuan.

    Foreign promotion shined significant results
    The year of 2012 was the second year of the beginning of "National 12th Five-Year Plan”, still the-second-year formal operation in the Chinese Media after the listing of Corporation, as "China Book International Project Working Group member”, Jiangxi Publishing Group and the Chinese Media launched strategic positioning on foreign promotion affairs through the Annual Economic Work Conference and Editing Work Conference, persistently and most importantly weighted the Books Foreign Promotion tasks in the work of “Go Global” strategy. To co-worked in the way of  "go global" and “bring in”, the Chinese Media made full use of the copyright trade-based platforms for domestic and international book fairs, brought trade personnel resources to strengthen the cooperation with United States, Britain, France, Japan, Korea, Vietnam , Thailand, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan District based publishers, took various forms of copyright trade, physical output, cooperative publishing, printing services, international strategic cooperation for external promotion , which have obtained new achievements.

    Enriched sources and Built quality
    In 2012, Jiangxi Publishing Group, the Chinese Media realized 206 kinds of copyright output  (more than 127 kinds in 2011, an increase of 62%), including copyright output to 122 kinds of non-Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions, co-published 6 kinds of 128 kinds, compared with 2011 output to non- Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions and co-published 104 kinds, an increase of 19%; copyright export to Hong Kong and Taiwan 78 kinds. Books physical output  sales(fixed price) attained about 100,000 yuan; the printing of foreign processing services trade volume was about 40 million yuan. The "Magic Fairy Tale" , an online game of the inspirational of the children and the youth formally launched in December 2012 by the 21st Century Publishing House, obtained the first phase of copyright output use fee of $ 500,000.

    In 2012, Jiangxi Publishing Group and the Chinese Media awarded of "Go Global " sphere as follows: Jiangxi Publishing Group was praised “The Copyright Output Advanced Units” by GAPP in the 2012 London Book Fair guest of honor on the summary of the General Assembly , the affiliated company of the Chinese Media—the 21st Century Publishing House awarded Copyright Application Award, Copyright gold medal (China) by the State Copyright Bureau and the World Intellectual Property Organization World Knowledge Property Organization, the only Chinese publishing house acquired the honor; "Baby Small Maze" (5 books) "Car Starting" transport picture book series (7 books) published by 21st Century Publishing House topped the Outstanding Book Award on Eleventh Output Version, the introduction of version winning list.

    Enriched Sources and Built Quality
    The publishing varieties with “Go global” value are the foundation of promotion and the cornerstone of “China Book International Program” and “Chinese Cultural Works Translated Project". In recent years, all publishing units of the Chinese Media have contributed more efforts to develop export-oriented topics, the export-oriented publications as press strategic development planning, diversified the variety and product line, created masterpieces with constantly promotional value. Chinese” 2012 “China Series” six varieties output to North America; Jiangxi Science and Technology Publishing House “AcupunctureTtreatment on CommonIillnesses Illustrated Series” six new varieties, “Internal Volume”, “Orthopedics Volume” copyright output to Princeton Nice Press; 21st Century Publishing House "Xiao Wen” series 8 varieties copyright output to Canada Kevin & Robin Books Ltd.; "Chinese Culture Series” by Baihuazhou Literary and Art Publishing House" Sunzi’s War Wisdom "output to Spain; Jiang Xi Fine and Arts Publishing House 9 electronic copyright of "Turkey Travel Notes ”"Peru Travel Notes" “Mexico Travel Notes " output to the United States; the Jiangxi College Publishing House Llittle CEO series” 8 new varieties copyright output to Vietnam Minglong culture Co., Ltd.

    Based on International Books Fairs Platform and Orient Globally
