Chinese theme pavilion of the guest of honor, revealed the charm of the Chinese culture through four elements. 2000 pieces of exhibits demonstrated the splendorous Chinese culture with four parts showing the developing process of the publishing industry.
The official opening ceremony of the Frankfurt Book Fair will be held on the evening of 13th October, with China as the guest of honor for the first time. Covering an area of 2500 square meters, the Chinese theme pavilion is an independent zone of exhibiting and displaying the overall cultural image of the nation, “illustrating China” to the world with its design and exhibitions. Austrian Chinese designer Li Jiwei undertook the designing; such domestic experts as Yuan Xingpei, Bai Gang and so on together finish the draft. The 2000 exhibits are the internationalized reflection of the Chinese element. Even before the opening of the Chinese them pavilion, it has already drawn attentions at home and abroad.
